San Diego, CA, August 27, 2014—FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AQUAFOR, a budding new force in clean water solutions, international aid and corporate responsibility, announces Albert M. Zaccor (Colonel, U.S. Army – Retired) as the Vice President of Business Development. As AQUAFOR continues to broaden its reach on the global business stage, Zaccor will leverage his 30+ years of leadership, management, and international relations experience to cultivate corporate and direct market partnerships for clean water access across the globe.

Zaccor uniquely combines a wealth of business management, political experience and military expertise. Prior to joining AQUAFOR, Zaccor served in the U.S. Army for 26 years in a variety of fields that include infantry, intelligence, and foreign affairs across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. As a Foreign Area Officer, Zaccor worked on numerous foreign assistance projects that have many commonalities with the development objectives facing AQUAFOR.

After retiring from active duty in 2008, Zaccor joined Solar Stik, Inc., a startup manufacturer of portable renewable energy generation systems, serving as both CEO and COO. At Solar Stik, Zaccor grew the pre-revenue startup with 4 people to a company with more than 25 employees and $5M in annual revenues.

Zaccor will lead AQUAFOR’s mission to establish large domestic and international partnerships for customers to utilize the company’s suite of clean water and economic solutions. “We must build a network of suppliers, distributors, and implementation partners, such as non-profits and corporate social responsibility departments (CSR), to succeed in attaining our objectives,” says Zaccor. “There are many companies who offer only part of the solution of bringing clean water to the people who need it.  We will differentiate ourselves from the competition by offering holistic, fully integrated solutions.” In addition to the Borelite Drill, a rugged and highly versatile well-digging drill, AQUAFOR provides community outreach, training, education, and logistics planning that is customized to the specific areas in need of support.

Ultimately, AQUAFOR’s goal is to convey to both large and small organizations that a sustainable solution to the clean water crisis is available. “Much of what we need to do is straightforward, but it will take focus and discipline to ensure that all of our activities remain aligned,” says Zaccor. “Universal clean water access is a real possibility. I see that as our most important responsibility.”
